A Conference To Cause A Change Within The Youth
Challenging The Youth Model United Nations
An Online Conference To Cause A Change Within The Youth
Message from,
The Secretary General
It is with great honor and pride that I, Krish Sanklecha, Secretary General of CTYMUN 2020, extends a warm welcome to the youth of today and leaders of tomorrow to the “Challenging The Youth Model United Nations” conference on behalf of the entire CTYMUN team.
I have now been participating in MUN conferences for over three years and I am overjoyed that I grasped at this opportunity to work with my team to build this conference from the ground up. Our conference adhered to the THIMUN procedure is in hopes of stimulating not only fruitful debate but also to invoke critical thinking, organization and public speaking skills in everyone involved.
In the midst of a crisis, where people have been separated from dear ones, I wanted to continue to show my commitment, dedication to MUN and my passion for it along with my fellow team. Therefore, over the next several weeks my team and I will be working on ensuring that we successfully bring forth an online experience that will exceed expectations.
So that being said, the committees that CTYMUN will offer are those that are thought-provoking and cater for MUN delegates and chairs with varying experience. The committees that will be offered include the General Assembly 3 (GA3), the General Assembly 6 (GA6) the World Health Organization (WHO), the Human Rights Council (HRC), the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and lastly the Security Council (SC).
Every executive team member, student officer and delegate will form the foundation of the conference and become a part of something greater. Once again, I invite you to be a part of the team and look forward to seeing all of you there.
